Mourner's Hat

I created this Mourner's Hat with a silhouette file. Once assembled, I painted it with black acrylic paint. 

I added various die-cut shapes in double-sided tape which were then coated with fine glitter in black and tinsel white. 

 

The texture on the side band is a separate piece which was stencilled with texture paste, dried and then lightly misted with Lindy Stamp Gang sprays in blues and purples. The flower layers were coloured with the same sprays.

On the other side is an arrangement of various bottles filled with potions, a jewel, a stick pin and a feather.
