Hidden Dreams

This canvas was coated with a layer of gesso and then misted with Lindy Stamp Gang sprays in blues and greens.

Once dry, I painted on a layer of crackle paste in varying thicknesses and waited (impatiently) for it to dry naturally. Once dry, the canvas was then given a coat of clear gesso and the image stamped on with black archival ink.

The dimension is unfortunately hard to capture, but the grid has been stamped in stazon on acetate and secured with dimensional glue for some space between it and the canvas.

Various embellishments and flowers were added for some interest.
